Over the past week I really started to notice a difference in my confidence and look. My arms and thighs have become tighter and my stomach has deflated a little.
Lately I have been feeling that my progress and weight loss might be leveling off. I wasn’t gaining any weight but I stopped losing more. This week I realized that it was just a plateau. I knew I was gaining muscle tone and that made me feel on track.
Overall I can say that working out and eating lighter have made me feel like I have taken control of my body – it is a very empowering feeling! This was especially relevant when I had my swimwear fitting with Say Todd. It went better than I expected! I was worried that I would have a hard time finding something that worked with my body. But, after telling her my insecurities she worked with me to minimize my problem areas (like my thighs) and emphasize my better traits (my chest).
What surprised me the most is that I used to think that I needed boy short bottoms to conceal by thighs but Shay taught me that it actually elongates your hips – not a very flattering effect! She told me that sporting smaller bottoms is actually a more slimming look.
I am very excited for the final reveal! I have some more work to do before I am ready, but I am well on my way!
